The 2026 City Wide Food Drive routes are now available.
The Food Drive is a great opportunity to help the poor and needy in our city in a very meaningful way, and fulfills our promise to the Lord to live the Second Great Commandment.
Please visit Brother Palmer in the gym, on the platform, to pick up a route during 2nd hour or after church between now and September 13th.
Each route includes:
- a map
- a box of bags
- door hangers for each house
All members able to do a route are asked to participate. If you can't complete a whole route, sharing routes amongst other families, singles or seniors is welcomed.
If you know of friends or neighbours who might want to complete a route or help you complete yours, please invite them to participate in the next few weeks.
Some of the routes have been revised to be smaller; most routes are between 95–150 homes. In most cases volunteers will deliver to homes in the same part of the community they live in (especially if they pick up their route sooner than later 🙂!).
Bags need to be delivered to homes between September 14–17, and Food Drive pick-up will be on September 19th.
